Bon Voyage

Ahoy Sailor,

Three years ago I embarked on an unprecedented adventure by founding NoHaCa. As an acronym for No Harm No Care, nohaca has stood for sailors who consciously want to reduce the environmental impact of their sailing adventures from the start.

When it was still normal for your sailing suit to be made with virgin polyester and full of PTFE and other forever chemicals, we launched a sailing suit made of recycled nylon, PTFE and PFC free. After a turbulent start with corona restrictions and the blockage of the Suez Canal, nohaca has been gaining steam over the last year with the “First Edition” sailing suits.

Unfortunately, this journey comes to an end due to insurmountable quality problems with the “First Edition” sailing suits. Without the sales of the “First Edition” sailing suits, nohaca no longer has a basis to continue.

Fortunately, thanks to the Hrif Foundation, the sailing suits ended up as relief goods in Romania, Ukraine and Moldova. Where the “First Edition” jackets and trousers are even more than welcome as an extra layer of clothing.

Before this adventure really ends, we will launch the LOOPLA Tech T-shirt. The combination of the innovative and circular PLA fabric, the quick-drying, hypoallergenic and thermoregulatory properties, together with the design of this t-shirt, make a real NoHaCa t-shirt.

Thank you for being part of this adventure together with hundreds of other explorers and fair winds for your next sailing trip!

Bon voyage,
Jelle Bruns
